These terms are an agreement between you and Rolesauce (rolesauce.com) (“Rolesauce”, “we”, “us”). They cover rolesauce.com and Rolesauce Pro. By using the site or buying Pro, you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

1. Who can use Rolesauce

Anyone can browse the free role pages. You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract to buy Rolesauce Pro.

2. Our data is information, not advice

Rolesauce summarizes what public job postings say about AI skills. It is general information only. It is not career, legal, HR, employment or financial advice, and it doesn't guarantee any job, interview, promotion or result.

  • Our numbers come from a sample of job postings, collected on a stated date and tagged by keyword rules that can be wrong. Our methodology explains the limits.
  • Prompts, guides and “what to learn first” sections are our editorial suggestions. Check anything an AI tool produces before you rely on it.
  • Follow your employer's AI and data policies. Don't put confidential, customer or personal data into a tool your employer hasn't approved.
  • Quotes from job postings belong to their authors. We show short excerpts without employer names for commentary and analysis.

3. Rolesauce Pro founding pre-order

Rolesauce Pro isn't open yet. Until it opens, you can pre-order it as a founding member.

  • Prices. The regular price is $12 a month or $99 a year. The first 100 founding members pay $9 a month or $79 a year. Prices are in US dollars, and sales tax may be added where required.
  • When you're charged. We charge your first month or year when you pre-order. Your first billing period starts the day Pro opens, so you don't pay for time before launch. We'll email you when Pro opens.
  • Refunds before launch. You can cancel and get a full refund any time before Pro opens by emailing [email protected]. If we decide not to launch Pro, we'll refund every pre-order in full.
  • What's included. Pro is planned to include setup guides, full prompt packs, weekly role alerts and deeper hiring-data insights, starting with marketing, finance and HR. We'll describe exactly what's included before Pro opens, and it may change as we build it. If it isn't what you expected, the refund terms below apply.
  • Founding price lock. Your founding price stays the same for as long as your subscription stays active, even if the regular price goes up. If you cancel, or your subscription ends because a payment fails and isn't fixed, the founding price ends too, and rejoining later is at the price at that time. You can switch between the founding monthly and annual plans and keep founding pricing.
  • First 100 only. Founding prices are available to the first 100 paid pre-orders, counted in order of payment. A refunded pre-order doesn't count toward the 100.

4. Subscriptions, renewal and cancellation

  • Auto-renewal. Pro is a subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each month or year, and we charge the payment method on file, until you cancel.
  • Cancelling. You can cancel any time using the link in your receipt emails or by emailing [email protected]. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.
  • Price changes. We may change the regular price. If you're not a founding member, we'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first. Founding prices don't change while the subscription stays active.
  • Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may retry it. If it still fails, we may pause or end your subscription.
  • Receipts. Every charge comes with an emailed receipt in your name, which you can use for expense claims.

5. Refunds

  • Before Pro opens: full refund, any time, no questions asked.
  • After Pro opens: if Pro isn't for you, ask within 14 days of the day Pro opens, or of your first charge if that's later, and we'll refund that charge in full.
  • Annual renewals: if your annual plan renews and you didn't mean it to, ask within 14 days of the renewal charge for a full refund.
  • Otherwise: charges aren't refundable and we don't give partial refunds for unused time, but you can cancel any time to stop future charges.

Refunds go back to the original payment method. Nothing in these terms limits any refund rights you have under the law where you live.

6. Your Pro access

Pro is for your own personal and work use. Don't share your login, and don't resell, republish or redistribute Pro content (such as prompt packs, guides or alerts) in bulk. Using it in your own job, including sharing a prompt or tip with a colleague, is fine.

7. Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • scrape, crawl or bulk-download the site or its data, except our published CSV downloads, or use it to build a competing dataset or product;
  • spam our forms, submit someone else's personal information, or submit anything unlawful, abusive or infringing;
  • try to break, overload or get around the site's security, rate limits or access controls;
  • use Rolesauce to make automated hiring or employment decisions about people, or in any way that breaks the law.

We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these rules. If we end a paid subscription for a reason other than a breach of these terms, we'll refund the unused part.

8. What you send us

When you share how you use AI, you keep ownership of what you write. You give us permission to use it to improve Rolesauce and, only if you ticked the box, to quote it on Rolesauce without your name. Please don't include confidential information about your employer.

9. Our content

The site's design, text, analysis, prompts and guides belong to Rolesauce, except job-posting quotes and third-party names and trademarks, which belong to their owners. Mentioning a tool doesn't mean its maker endorses us, or that we endorse it.

10. Third-party services

The site links to other websites and mentions third-party AI tools. We don't control them and aren't responsible for them. Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms.

11. Disclaimers

Rolesauce is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.

12. Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Rolesauce won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, earnings, job opportunities or data, arising from your use of the site or Pro. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and if a change materially affects Pro customers, we'll email them before it takes effect. If you keep using Rolesauce after that, you accept the new terms; if you don't agree, you can cancel.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim locally.
